Unauthenticated SSRF and email relay via mailer DSN
Published Apr 14, 2026 · Updated Apr 14, 2026
SSRF in Chamilo LMS 2.0-RC.2 allows remote attackers to reach internal SMTP services and relay email through the server. The unauthenticated public/main/inc/ajax/install.ajax.php test_mailer action omits global.inc.php checks and passes a POST-supplied Symfony Mailer DSN to a new SMTP connection. A fully installed instance remains exposed without login, enabling internal network reconnaissance, attacker-directed email, and error-based disclosure of topology and services.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
