SYSTEM file deletion via attacker-created junction

Published Apr 23, 2026 · Updated Apr 23, 2026

Junction manipulation in Tenable Nessus 10.11.3 and earlier and Nessus Agent 11.1.2 and earlier allows local users to delete files as SYSTEM. Tenable has not published the affected file-operation locus or the missing junction validation that permits redirection.
