Unauthenticated stored XSS via unescaped parameter keys
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
Stored XSS in Fahad Mahmood Injection Guard 1.2.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject scripts through query parameter names. The sanitize_ig_data() path cleans array values but not keys, then ig_settings.php prints stored keys into HTML without output escaping. Injection is unauthenticated, but an administrator must open the log interface before the payload runs in that administrator's browser.
