Published May 27, 2026 · Updated May 27, 2026
Path traversal in IBM InfoSphere Optim Test Data Fabrication Resource Manager allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files. Resource Manager accepts crafted URL paths containing /../ sequences without confining the resolved path to its intended directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and IBM reports file disclosure without modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=1.0.0, 1.0.0.1, 1.0.0.2, 1.0.2, 1.0.2.2, 1.0.2.3, 1.0.2.4, 1.0.2.5, 1.0.2.6, 1.0.2.7 <=1.8.4
