Stored script execution via unescaped address metadata
Published Apr 23, 2026 · Updated Apr 23, 2026
Stored XSS in Tijmen Smit WP Store Locator 2.2.261 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via wpsl_address. The plugin stores the wpsl_address post meta value without sufficient sanitization and renders it in map marker info windows without context-appropriate escaping. Contributor-level access is required; the script executes in a visitor's browser when an affected page is opened and its injected marker info window is displayed.
