Pre-authentication service interruption via malformed ManageSieve command
Published Aug 28, 2026 · Updated Aug 28, 2026
Denial of service in Open-Xchange OX Dovecot CE and Pro allows remote attackers to interrupt Sieve script management before authentication. The managesieve-login process crashes while parsing a small malformed command, but Open-Xchange has not disclosed the exact parser operation or input form. ManageSieve must be network-accessible; high-security mode drops only the attacking connection, while repeated requests against high-performance mode terminate all connections sharing the process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
