Unauthenticated billing-profile overwrite via unchecked order ownership
Published Apr 10, 2026 · Updated Apr 10, 2026
Missing authorization in Themeum Tutor LMS 3.9.7 and earlier allows remote attackers to overwrite billing profiles via an order ID. The pay_incomplete_order() function uses an attacker-controlled order_id to select an order owner and writes supplied billing fields without checking requester identity or ownership. A public Tutor nonce and a guessed or enumerated incomplete manual order are sufficient; the resulting changes are limited to that owner's stored billing profile.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
