Authenticated arbitrary file upload via unvalidated endpoints
Published Jun 26, 2026 · Updated Jun 26, 2026
Unrestricted upload in Daktronics DMP-5000, DMP-8000, and VFC-DMP-5000 firmware allows remote authenticated users to write files. The DMP-5000 file service endpoints accept executable binaries and scripts and write them directly without extension filtering or content inspection. Valid controller credentials are required; the documented result is arbitrary file placement and integrity impact, while subsequent execution is not publicly established.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <v10.34.x.x
