Authenticated data extraction via unrestricted ORM filters
Published Mar 26, 2026 · Updated Mar 26, 2026
ORM filter injection in InvenTree before 1.2.6 allows remote authenticated users to extract sensitive database data through bulk API requests. The bulk-operation endpoints pass the filters parameter directly to queryset.filter(**filters) without a field allowlist, permitting relationship traversal through Django lookup syntax. Any authenticated account can use boolean response differences to infer confidential database values, without reported write or availability impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
