Authenticated code execution via overlapping ZIP traversal
Published Mar 26, 2026 · Updated Mar 26, 2026
Path traversal in Zoraxy before 3.3.2 allows remote authenticated users to write files outside the configuration directory. The import handler removes ../ substrings only once, letting an overlapping traversal sequence regenerate ../ and pass the conf/ prefix check. Administrative access to POST /api/conf/import is required; a malicious plugin enables code execution after a manual restart and host takeover when the Docker socket is mounted.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
