Authenticated file read and write via path traversal
Published Mar 26, 2026 · Updated Mar 26, 2026
Path traversal in GoDoxy before 0.27.5 allows remote authenticated users to read or write files outside the config directory. The endpoint passes filename directly to path.Join with a relative config base and performs no containment check before file access. High-privilege authenticated API access is required; traversal sequences expose TLS keys, OAuth tokens, and other container-readable files, while PUT also permits validated YAML writes.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
