Administrator PHP execution via memory-limit string breakout
Published Mar 7, 2026 · Updated Mar 7, 2026
PHP code injection in Easy PHP Settings 1.0.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary server-side PHP. update_wp_memory_constants() places sanitized memory-limit values inside single-quoted define() statements in wp-config.php, but sanitize_text_field() leaves single quotes intact, enabling string breakout. Administrator access is required, and injected code runs whenever WordPress loads wp-config.php on page requests.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
