SQL injection via forged encrypted pagination tokens
Published Mar 26, 2026 · Updated Mar 26, 2026
SQL injection in Ory Kratos before 26.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL through forged pagination tokens. The ListCourierMessages Admin API decrypts attacker-supplied page tokens and incorporates embedded pagination values into SQL without adequate neutralization. Exploitation requires API reachability and a missing or attacker-known pagination secret; the public default secret satisfies that gate when no custom value is set.
