CVE-2026-33492Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Account takeover via attacker-fixed PHP session identifiers

Published Mar 23, 2026 · Updated Mar 23, 2026

Session fixation in World Wide Broadcast Network AVideo 26.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to hijack victim accounts. _session_start() accepts a GET-supplied PHPSESSID on selected same-origin endpoints, while User::login() preserves that identifier after authentication. A victim must click an attacker-posted same-origin link and then log in; the attacker can reuse the fixed session to act as that victim, including as an administrator.
