CVE-2026-33465Network attack vector

Service interruption via undisclosed excessive allocation

Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026

Resource exhaustion in Elastic Kibana 8.0.0 through 8.19.16 and 9.0.0 through 9.2.8 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service. Elastic has not disclosed the request endpoint, input field, or allocation path that processes the crafted request without a resource limit. Low-level permissions are sufficient, all configurations are affected, and successful exploitation can consume enough resources to make Kibana unavailable.
