Authenticated service interruption via excessive automatic-import allocation
Published Apr 8, 2026 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Resource exhaustion in affected Elastic Kibana releases allows remote authenticated users to interrupt the deployment through automatic import. The automatic import backend allocates excessive resources for attacker-controlled large input values and becomes unstable under concurrent requests. The plugin is enabled by default, but exploitation requires Fleet and Integrations privileges; successful requests make the deployment unavailable to all users.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=8.15.0 <=8.19.13
- Affected versionversion=9.0.0 <=9.2.7
