CVE-2026-33449Network attack vector

Client service interruption via message handler overflow

Published Apr 30, 2026 · Updated Apr 30, 2026

Stack-based buffer overflow in Absolute Secure Access clients before 14.50 allows remote attackers to interrupt the client service. An undisclosed message-handling function accepts a cryptographically valid message from a modified server and overwrites a small portion of client memory. The attacker must control a server trusted by the client; the published impact is client denial of service, with no reported data disclosure or modification.
