Client crash via authentication packet buffer overflow

Buffer overflow in the authentication subsystem of Absolute Secure Access before 14.50 allows attackers controlling a modified server to crash the client. The subsystem processes a specially formed server packet without enforcing the destination buffer bounds, overwriting a small memory region. Exploitation requires control of the server contacted by the client; the disclosed consequence is memory corruption or a client crash, not data access.
