Authenticated SSRF via unchecked redirect targets
Published Apr 15, 2026 · Updated Apr 15, 2026
SSRF in Weblate before 5.17 allows remote authenticated users to make server-side requests via redirected screenshot URLs. The screenshot URL downloader validated only the initial host, then followed redirects without reapplying ALLOWED_ASSET_DOMAINS. A low-privilege account and a restrictive domain allowlist are required; exploitation reaches disallowed hosts and exposes retrieved image data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
