Social engineering via attacker-controlled authorization domain
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
Missing authorization in affected Discourse releases allows remote attackers to display an attacker-controlled domain on an authorization page. The vendor has not disclosed the responsible authorization-page handler or the missing validation operation that accepts the displayed domain. No authentication is required; the resulting trusted-page misrepresentation facilitates social engineering against visitors.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
