IP address disclosure via review queue
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
Information disclosure in Discourse before 2026.1.2, 2026.2.1, or 2026.3.0-latest.1 allows remote authenticated users to view IP addresses. The review queue returns a flagged user's IP address field to users lacking permission to view it, but Discourse has not disclosed the faulty code locus. Reachability requires authenticated review-queue access and interaction with a flagged-user entry; the reported consequence is limited to that user's IP address.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
