Restricted Manager metadata disclosure via missing authorization
Published May 5, 2026 · Updated May 5, 2026
Missing authorization in Vaultwarden 1.35.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read organization collection metadata. The get_org_collections_details endpoint requires only ManagerHeadersLoose, omits has_full_access(), and returns Collection::find_by_organization() results without filtering on the computed assigned flag. A Manager role with accessAll=False and no collection assignments is sufficient; the exposed data comprises names, UUIDs, and user and group mappings.
