Code execution via aliased-buffer use-after-free

Use-after-free in PNG Development Group libpng 1.2.1 through 1.6.55 allows remote attackers to corrupt heap memory via a crafted PNG. png_set_tRNS and png_set_PLTE share buffers between png_struct and png_info, so png_free_data leaves a dangling pointer that row transforms read or overwrite. Exploitation requires an application to free or replace palette or transparency data before continuing decoding; demonstrated code execution depends on predictable heap reuse, with PIE or ASLR requiring an additional information leak or brute force.
