Application data modification via dashboard template injection
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
Template injection in Nozomi Networks Guardian and CMC before 26.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter application data. The Dashboards functionality accepts an insufficiently validated input parameter and executes an embedded payload in a viewer's browser context. Exploitation requires dashboard-authoring privileges or a victim who imports and views a malicious dashboard, and it permits data modification or service disruption.
