Session hijacking via unchanged pre-authentication identifier
Published May 29, 2026 · Updated May 29, 2026
Session fixation in OpenSolution Quick.Cms 6.8 and earlier allows attackers to hijack authenticated sessions via a fixed session ID. Quick.Cms accepts a session identifier before authentication and continues using the same value after the victim successfully authenticates. Exploitation requires a victim to use an identifier known to the attacker and then sign in, after which the attacker can assume the victim's authenticated session.
