Directory attribute disclosure via LDAP filter injection
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
LDAP injection in Zimbra Collaboration 10.0 and 10.1 allows remote authenticated users to retrieve sensitive directory attributes. The FolderAction operation in the Mailbox SOAP service incorporates unsanitized user-controlled input into an LDAP search filter. A valid user session and crafted SOAP request are required, and the demonstrated consequence is directory-data disclosure without reported modification or service interruption.
