CVE-2026-33321Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated SSRF via unescaped Eye Exam answers

Published Mar 19, 2026 · Updated Mar 19, 2026

SSRF in OpenEMR before 8.0.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to make the server request private-network or external resources. Eye Exam report.php emits stored form answers such as HPI directly into HTML, and mPDF resolves attacker-supplied image URLs while generating a PDF. A clinical notes permission is required; exploitation exposes the server address, probes private services, and stores fetched images in patient records.
