Internal resource disclosure via unchecked thumbnail fetch
Published Mar 22, 2026 · Updated Mar 22, 2026
SSRF in World Wide Broadcast Network AVideo before 26.0 allows remote authenticated users to read internal HTTP resources via thumbnails. The BulkEmbed save endpoint passes each user-controlled thumbs URL to url_get_contents without isSSRFSafeURL validation, then stores the response as a video poster. Reachability requires BulkEmbed permission; only administrators receive it by default, but deployments can grant it to other authenticated users.
