Arbitrary method execution via unvalidated relationship names
Published Mar 23, 2026 · Updated Mar 23, 2026
Arbitrary method execution in Graphiti before 1.10.2 allows remote attackers to invoke public model methods through JSON:API writes. Graphiti::Util::ValidationResponse#all_valid? recursively passes unvalidated relationship names from the request to model.send(name). Exposure requires a create, update, or delete endpoint reachable by untrusted users; invoked methods can modify data or interrupt the application.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
