CVE-2026-33284Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrator phishing via unvalidated support-request URLs

Published Mar 27, 2026 · Updated Mar 27, 2026

Improper URL validation in GlobaLeaks before 5.0.89 allows remote attackers to place arbitrary URLs in administrator support emails. The /api/support handler checks link formatting but fails to verify that the url parameter points to the GlobaLeaks platform before forwarding it as plain-text email. Exploitation is unauthenticated, but impact requires an administrator to open a submitted URL rendered as a link by the email client; the flaw does not expose data, modify the platform, or interrupt service.
