Hidden debugging functionality in BUFFALO Wi-Fi routers allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary OS commands. BUFFALO has not published the request path or operation that exposes the nonpublic debugging interface to network input. Exploitation requires high privileges and knowledge of the undisclosed debugging function; internet reachability additionally requires WAN remote access to be enabled.
