Authenticated external-origin loading via unvalidated redirect path
Published Feb 27, 2026 · Updated Feb 27, 2026
Iframe injection in DatoCMS Web Previews before 1.0.31 allows remote authenticated users to load external origins in Visual Editing. The Inspector UI accepts path values from URL or content-link state and passes them to the draft-mode redirect without enforcing the configured origin. Visual Editing must be enabled, and authenticated editor access is required; attacker-selected content then loads inside the preview iframe.
