Unauthenticated database disclosure via AJAX search injection
Published Jun 10, 2026 · Updated Jun 10, 2026
SQL injection in 8theme XStore before 9.7.3 allows remote attackers to read WordPress database data via an unauthenticated AJAX action. The unauthenticated product-search path inserts the s query parameter into a SQL statement without adequate sanitization or escaping. XStore Core and WooCommerce must also be installed; the demonstrated time-based payload delays the response and confirms database-query control.
