Authorization bypass in Discourse before 2026.3.0-latest.1, 2026.2.1, and 2026.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to alter Solved status. Discourse has not published the affected endpoint or the exact authorization check omitted when accepting or unaccepting a solution on a hidden topic. Exploitation requires a logged-in account in an allowed group and permits changing which reply is marked as the accepted solution, without reported availability impact.
