CVE-2026-33166Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file read via unchecked attachment paths

Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026

Path traversal in Allure Report before 2.38.0 allows attackers to read host files through crafted test-result attachments. Allure1Plugin, Allure2Plugin, and XcTestPlugin pass attacker-controlled attachment sources to Path.resolve() without normalization or a results-directory boundary check. The attacker must influence a result file processed by the generator; the process can copy any readable host file into the generated report.
