Stored XSS via unescaped Progress Bar attributes
Published Apr 8, 2026 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in The Plus Addons for Elementor 6.4.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via Progress Bar. The Progress Bar shortcode accepts user-supplied attributes without sufficient input sanitization and emits them without adequate output escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient to store a payload in a page, and the script executes in the browser whenever a user visits that page.
