Authenticated code execution via improper access control
Published May 7, 2026 · Updated May 7, 2026
Improper access control in Microsoft Azure Managed Instance for Apache Cassandra allows remote authenticated users to execute code. Microsoft has not published the affected interface, code path, or access-control check that incorrectly permits the operation. Exploitation requires low-privileged service access over the network; the resulting code execution can cross the vulnerable service's security boundary.
