Authenticated SQL injection via unchecked sort direction
Published Apr 16, 2026 · Updated Apr 16, 2026
SQL injection in DataEase 2.10.20 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read database data through crafted sort directions. Order2SQLObj copies the orderDirection value into an SQL object without validation, and StringTemplate renders it directly into the ORDER BY clause before JDBC execution. Exploitation requires a valid session and usable dataset metadata; injected blind queries can extract database records or consume database connections.
