Unauthenticated file read via attacker-controlled oldconfig path
Published Apr 24, 2026 · Updated Apr 24, 2026
Path traversal in Roxy-WI before 8.2.6.4 allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files through haproxy_section_save. The handler passes the request body's oldconfig value to rewrite_section as a path, which opens and reads it without restricting it to the configuration directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and exposed data is limited to files readable by the web application process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
