CVE-2026-33073Network attack vector

Cross-site Stripe key exposure via global state

Published Mar 31, 2026 · Updated Mar 31, 2026

Information disclosure in Discourse's discourse-subscriptions plugin allows remote authenticated users to obtain another site's Stripe API key. The Stripe controller concern assigns each site's secret to the process-global ::Stripe.api_key, so concurrent requests reuse another site's credential. Exploitation requires a multithreaded multisite cluster, low-privileged access, active user interaction, and concurrent Stripe requests; it exposes cross-site Stripe data without interrupting service.
