Administrative takeover via Docker default credentials
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
Insecure default credentials in World Wide Broadcast Network AVideo before 26.0 allow remote attackers to gain administrative access. The Docker Compose fallback supplies password as SYSTEM_ADMIN_PASSWORD, and install/cli.php passes it to checkConfiguration.php, which seeds the admin account with its MD5 hash. Exploitation requires a Docker deployment that retains the default; successful login exposes user data and permits content changes, deletion, service disruption, and admin-enabled PHP execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
