Unauthenticated reflected XSS via innerHTML rendering
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
Reflected XSS in AVideo before 26.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript in a victim's browser via a crafted URL. The videoNotFound.php handler passes the 404ErrorMsg parameter through json_encode() without HTML-safe flags, and script.js assigns it to innerHTML. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted link; script runs in that victim's AVideo origin and can access session data available to JavaScript.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
