Pre-auth root command execution via unsanitized webWlanIdx
Published Feb 27, 2026 · Updated Feb 27, 2026
OS command injection in TOTOLINK N300RH Firmware 6.1c.1353_B20190305 allows remote attackers to execute commands as root. The setWebWlanIdx handler reads the webWlanIdx HTTP parameter, inserts it unescaped into an echo command with sprintf, and passes the result to CsteSystem. Network reachability to the web management interface is sufficient; no authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants full control of the router.
