CVE-2026-33002Network attack vector

Anonymous CLI access via DNS rebinding

Published Mar 18, 2026 · Updated Mar 18, 2026

Origin validation bypass in Jenkins 2.442 through 2.554 and LTS 2.426.3 through 2.541.2 allows remote attackers to run CLI commands. CLIAction.doWs derives the expected WebSocket Origin from attacker-influenced Host or X-Forwarded-Host headers rather than the configured Jenkins URL. Exploitation requires plain HTTP, an accessible CLI WebSocket endpoint, and a victim visiting a DNS-rebinding site; commands run with anonymous permissions, ranging from limited identity output to code execution when Groovy permissions exist.
