Unauthenticated code execution via template archive upload
Published Mar 20, 2026 · Updated Mar 20, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in Xerte Online Toolkits 3.14 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute PHP code through template import. The unauthenticated import.php endpoint extracts PHP files from a crafted ZIP archive into the web-accessible USER-FILES project path. Internet reachability to the endpoint is sufficient; requested payloads execute with the web server's privileges and can compromise application data and service operation.
