Authenticated profile modification via scope mismatch
Published Mar 29, 2026 · Updated Mar 29, 2026
Incorrect authorization in OpenClaw before 2026.3.11 allows remote authenticated users to modify persistent browser profiles. The browser.request Gateway method accepts operator.write access and forwards profile-management requests that persist configuration without enforcing operator.admin. An operator.write credential is required; successful requests can store attacker-controlled remote CDP endpoints and alter browser profiles on disk.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
