Administrator access via unauthenticated password assignment
Published Apr 20, 2026 · Updated Apr 20, 2026
Insecure defaults in SD-330AC and AMC Manager allow remote attackers on the local network to gain administrator privileges. SD-330AC 1.42 and earlier and AMC Manager 5.0.2 and earlier permit a factory-default device with no administrator password to accept a remote password-setting operation from an unauthenticated client. The attacker must reach the device before an administrator password is set; assigning a new password claims administrator access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
