Unauthenticated configuration changes via setup communications
Published Apr 20, 2026 · Updated Apr 20, 2026
Missing authentication in Silex SD-330AC 1.42 and earlier and AMC Manager 5.0.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter device settings. The Serial Device Server Setup communication path accepts device-setting changes without authenticating the sender. An attacker must communicate with the device from the same local network; the documented impact is unauthorized configuration modification.
