Temporary service interruption via unchecked packet length

Heap-based buffer overflow in Silex SD-330AC 1.42 and earlier and AMC Manager 5.0.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to interrupt service. The sx_smpd packet parser processes packet data lengths without sufficient validation, allowing crafted packet data to overflow a heap buffer. Remote attackers require no authentication or user interaction but must communicate with an affected product from the same local network; the reported outcome is a temporary service interruption.
