CVE-2026-3294

Unauthenticated administrator takeover via manipulated login parameter

Published May 22, 2026 · Updated May 22, 2026

Authentication bypass in five TP-Link range extenders allows remote attackers on an adjacent network to reset the administrator password. The login path insufficiently validates a manipulated login parameter, allowing the parameter to trigger an administrator-password reset. No credentials or user interaction are required, but adjacent-network reachability is necessary; a successful reset grants full administrative control.
